Ravenous Butterflies is the online alter ego of artist Lisa Azarmi,and she set it up as a ‘virtual self-help diary, a space to post images and text that resonated with me’.
Ten years on arrives this book, which invites readers to ‘take a transformative journey to improve their mental well-being’ with ‘comforting and restorative’ words and some beautiful paintings, some of them familiar, but a lot of them new to my eyes at least.
It’s a lovely, gentle book, best experienced in your favourite armchair with a cup of tea and a packet of chocolate malted milk biscuits. There can be no higher praise.

“An Apothecary of Art - A must purchase in my opinion”
I was blown away with the arrival of my book this morning. My great great aunt is Winifred Nicholson, who was married to Ben Nicholson and who’s fathers’ art work features on the first page of this wonderful book, but who also appears in the velveteen rabbit too. Such fantastic words and also amazing to connect with ravenous butterflies after following her on Face Book for the last year. Thank you so much. You have helped me reflect so many times through your posts, also opened my mind emotionally and also visually too.

After receiving my copy and immersing myself in the soothing quotes and art, I bought several more copies for family and friends.
